Mercy in motion, rooted in maple soil
Mercy Maple Relief was founded in Toronto by a group of Canadian Muslims who saw a quiet need: a charity that is at once unapologetically Canadian and deeply rooted in Islamic tradition — one that serves newcomers in Ontario with the same seriousness as displaced families overseas.
We began with a small iftar drive in Scarborough and a single water well in East Africa. Today we operate programs across education, humanitarian relief, community building, and Islamic services — with a youth-led volunteer network at our core.
Every program we run is measured against a single standard: would we be comfortable explaining this, in detail, to both the family receiving the aid and the donor who funded it? That bar is our non-negotiable.
